Course Purchase - Terms and Refund Policy

What you're buying

A purchase gives you a personal licence to access online content (on-demand video, downloadable PDF, or a live webinar) for your own or your family's educational use. You're not buying ownership of the content itself β€” see the End User Content Licence below.

On-demand courses and downloadable PDFs remain accessible for 90 days from the date of purchase.

A live webinar or workshop seat includes admission to the scheduled live session, plus access to the recording for 90 days from the date of the event.

For free webinars or courses that require registration, any replay or content is available for 48 hours after the event, after which it's no longer accessible. Registration stays open throughout that window, so you can register after the live event and still access whatever's left of the 48 hours before it expires.

A purchase is for one individual's use. Login details, downloaded files, and webinar recordings must not be shared, resold, or redistributed to anyone who hasn't purchased their own access β€” see the End User Content Licence below.

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. If you're purchasing from outside Australia, your bank or card provider converts the price to your own currency at checkout.

Orange Tree Therapy may update or improve a course's content from time to time. Where reasonably possible, anyone with current access to that course will receive the improved version at no extra cost.

Courses and webinars are delivered through Kajabi, a third-party platform. We take reasonable care in selecting and maintaining our platform, but we're not responsible for a payment or access failure caused by an outage or fault in Kajabi's own systems β€” though we'll help resolve it as quickly as we reasonably can.

Immediate access consent

At checkout, before completing a purchase, you'll be asked to confirm:

β€œYes, I'd like immediate access to any content that's already available as part of this purchase.”

By ticking this, you're agreeing to start accessing your content as soon as it's available. If your purchase includes content released over time (for example, a webinar series with upcoming dates), each part becomes available as it's released, and this doesn't affect your access to parts that haven't been released yet.

Refund Policy

Your consumer guarantee rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a course or webinar is not as described, doesn't do what it's meant to do, or is otherwise faulty, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy regardless of anything else in this policy.

On-demand courses β€” 7-day cooling-off period

If you haven't started watching or downloading a course's content, you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Once you've begun watching or accessing the content, this cooling-off period no longer applies, and no refund is offered beyond your consumer guarantee rights above.

Live webinars and one-off workshops

Because a live webinar or one-off workshop is delivered at a fixed time, we treat a purchased seat as consumed once the event has occurred or the recording has been made available to you, whichever happens first. No refund is offered for a live webinar or workshop for this reason, whether or not you were able to attend live.

How to request a refund

Refund requests are made the same way as any other complaint or feedback β€” email [email protected] or use our feedback form. Please include your order details and the reason for your request.

We aim to acknowledge a refund request within 7 business days, in line with our Feedback and Complaints policy. Where a refund is approved, it's processed back to your original payment method, and access to the relevant content is removed once the refund is issued.

International purchases

Refunds are processed in the currency and to the payment method originally used. Depending on your bank or card provider, the amount you receive may vary slightly due to exchange rates or fees outside our control.

End User Content Licence

Grant of licence: buying a course, PDF, or webinar seat gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use that content for your own or your immediate family's educational purposes.

What you can't do:

  • Reproduce, redistribute, resell, or publicly share any content, or upload it to another platform or account.
  • Share your login details or purchased access with anyone else.
  • Use any content for a commercial purpose β€” for example, as part of your own paid service to others.

Ownership: all content remains the intellectual property of Clare Reabow / Orange Tree Therapy. Nothing in this licence transfers ownership of the content to you.

Ending the licence: we may end your access if this licence is breached β€” for example, if content is shared or redistributed β€” without affecting our other rights.

Pricing, Tax and Currency

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST for purchases within Australia. If you're purchasing from outside Australia, your bank or card provider may convert the price to your local currency; any conversion fees are set by your own provider, not by us. Orange Tree Therapy is registered for GST β€” receipts show our ABN and GST registration.

Changes to These Terms

We may update or change these terms from time to time, at our discretion β€” for example, to reflect a change in how our courses or platform work. The current version of these terms, and its date, will always be available on our website.

A change to these terms won't affect a purchase you've already made under the version that applied at the time β€” the terms that applied when you purchased continue to apply to that purchase.

Governing Law

These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and every other Orange Tree Therapy policy referenced from them, are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions that might otherwise apply a different country's law.

Any dispute arising from these documents is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia β€” meaning a claim can be brought there, but this clause doesn't attempt to prevent a claim being brought wherever your own local law otherwise allows it.

Nothing in this clause limits a right you hold under your own country's law that can't lawfully be excluded or overridden by a governing law clause, where that right applies.

If any part of these documents is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply, without affecting the remainder.

New Zealand

Clare Reabow is not registered to practise occupational therapy in New Zealand. Content offered to a New Zealand visitor is general education only. New Zealand's Fair Trading Act 1986 and Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 may give a New Zealand-based purchaser certain protections regardless of this document's governing law clause. Nothing here excludes those rights where they apply.

United Kingdom

Clare Reabow previously held registration with the UK's Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), voluntarily relinquished, and holds no current UK registration. Content offered to a UK visitor is general education only. The UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives UK consumers statutory rights over digital content β€” that it be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described β€” which this document doesn't exclude. Your right to cancel a digital content purchase within 14 days is addressed through the immediate access consent step at checkout, above.

United States

Clare Reabow is not licensed in any US state. Content offered to a US visitor is general education only. Certain US state-level consumer-protection statutes may apply to a purchase by a resident of that state, and nothing here excludes a right that can't lawfully be excluded.

South Africa

Clare Reabow previously held registration with South Africa's Health Professions Council (HPCSA), voluntarily relinquished, and holds no current South African registration. Content offered to a South African visitor is general education only. South Africa's Consumer Protection Act 2008 gives South African consumers certain rights, broadly similar in spirit to the Australian Consumer Law, which this document doesn't exclude where they apply.

European Union

Paid courses and webinars aren't currently sold to residents of the European Union, while we work through what's needed to do that properly. Free content remains available worldwide, including in the EU.
