Meet the OT ....
Clare Reabow
Clare Reabow is the Occupational Therapist behind Orange Tree Therapy.
She qualified as an OT in South Africa in 1997 and has almost 30 years' clinical experience, working across government health services in South Africa, the UK (NHS) and Australia (Qld Health) before moving into private practice exclusively from 2012 onward — giving her a genuinely broad view of how children develop and how families can best support them, wherever they happen to be.
Clare works in both Paediatrics and as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist (Occupational Therapy Australia Endorsed), with particular experience supporting parents, children and teens with anxiety, autism (ASD), ADHD, attachment difficulties, developmental delays and other additional needs. She works practically and holistically with the whole family, with a strong emphasis on helping parents — empowering them with practical strategies — and on the relationships that shape a child's day-to-day progress.
Her in-person practice in Queensland is usually fully booked and has inspired Orange Tree Therapy's online courses and webinars, which bring that same practical family-centred thinking to parents, carers and other professionals everywhere.
Married for over 25 years, Clare is also a parent herself. Her son and daughter are now in professional roles while completing their first university degrees — a stage that gives her a genuine, lived sense of just how much the early years of support and connection really matter!
