Who we are

Orange Tree Therapy is operated by Clare Reabow, an occupational therapist registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA registration OCC0001747702).

If you're going through something difficult

Our free content, courses and webinars reach a wide audience, and we know some people will be going through something hard. We can't monitor messages in real time and can't provide crisis support through this website, a course, or a webinar.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call emergency services now:

•       Australia: 000

•       New Zealand: 111

•       United Kingdom: 999

•       United States: 911

•       South Africa: 10111 (police) or 10177 (ambulance)

If you or someone you know needs to talk to someone urgently about mental health or wellbeing, please reach out to one of these:

•       Australia: Lifeline, 13 11 14, 24/7

•       Australia: Suicide Call Back Service, 1300 659 467, 24/7, for anyone aged 15 and over

•       Australia: Kids Helpline, 1800 55 1800, 24/7, ages 5–25

•       Australia: MensLine Australia, 1300 78 99 78, 24/7

•       Queensland and Northern Territory: Parentline, 1300 30 1300, 8am–10pm, 7 days

•       New Zealand: Need to Talk?, call or text 1737, free, 24/7

•       United Kingdom: Samaritans, 116 123, free, 24/7

•       United States: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, call or text 988, 24/7

•       South Africa: SADAG Suicide Crisis Line, 0800 567 567

•       Elsewhere: please contact your local emergency services or search for a crisis line in your country

If your message asks for advice about your own child specifically, we'll point you toward your child's treating team rather than answering individually — this keeps us within what general education can safely offer.

Feedback and complaints

We take feedback and complaints seriously and would rather hear about a concern and have the chance to put things right.

How to reach us: email [email protected], or use our feedback form:

To be confirmed. Please contact [email protected] for further information.

To help us respond properly the first time, it helps to include what happened, when it happened, and what outcome you're hoping for.

What happens next:

  • We'll acknowledge your complaint within 7 business days.
  • We aim to resolve most complaints within 30 days. If something's more complex, we'll let you know and give an updated timeframe.
  • You won't be treated differently, or lose access to anything you've paid for, because you raised a concern in good faith.
  • We keep a record of the complaint and its resolution, in line with our privacy practices below.

We're committed to hearing feedback, including critical feedback, respectfully. If contact becomes abusive, harassing or threatening, we may end that particular contact — this doesn't affect your right to raise the same concern directly with Ahpra or a consumer protection body.

A complaint about a course or purchase (for example, refund timing) is handled under our separate Course Purchase Terms and Refund Policy. A complaint about Clare Reabow's professional conduct as an occupational therapist can be made to Ahpra on 1300 419 495 or at ahpra.gov.au. A child safety concern is handled under the Child Safety policy below.

Child safety

We're committed to the safety and wellbeing of every child connected to this business — including a child of a course purchaser or webinar attendee, or a child who appears in our content with proper consent.

  • Any real child shown or referenced in our content is included only with informed consent from a parent or guardian.
  • Anyone whose role involves direct contact with a child (for example, helping film or run a session) holds a current Blue Card.
  • Our online spaces (comments, webinar chat) are moderated on a reasonable, best-efforts basis, not monitored in real time.

If there's immediate danger to a child, call emergency services straight away. For a non-emergency concern, Queensland Child Safety can be reached on 13 QGOV (13 74 68) during business hours, or the After Hours Child Protection Service Line on 1800 177 135. If the child is outside Australia, please contact your local child protection authority or police.

Terms and disclaimers

These notices apply across everything we publish online: on-demand videos, downloadable PDFs, and live webinars. They don't apply to Orange Tree Therapy's existing in-person one-to-one occupational therapy services, which continue under their own separate service agreement.

Master Health and Educational Disclaimer

All content provided by Orange Tree Therapy, including videos, downloadable PDFs, webinars, and any free content or social media material (together, "the Content"), is general educational information only. It is developed from Clare Reabow's professional experience and training as an occupational therapist registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (Ahpra).

The Content does not constitute occupational therapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or individual clinical advice, and is not a substitute for individual assessment or treatment by a qualified, appropriately registered practitioner working directly with you or your child.

Every child is different. General strategies described in the Content may not be appropriate, sufficient, or safe for every child, particularly a child with an existing diagnosis, disability, medical condition, or complex needs. Before applying any strategy discussed in the Content to a specific child, seek individual advice from that child's treating team.

No Practitioner-Client Relationship

Purchasing, downloading, viewing or attending any Content, including a live webinar, does not create an occupational therapist-client relationship, a therapeutic relationship, or any duty of care between Orange Tree Therapy (or Clare personally) and the purchaser, viewer, attendee, their child, or any other person.

No clinical relationship is formed by submitting a question, comment or message, whether during a webinar, by email, or through social media. Responses to general questions, where given, remain general education and are not individual clinical advice.

Jurisdiction and Licensure

Clare Reabow is registered as an occupational therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (Ahpra), registration number OCC0001747702, and holds no current registration, licence or authorisation to practise occupational therapy in any other country or jurisdiction, including but not limited to New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, or South Africa.

The Content is provided as general education only. It is not, and must not be relied upon as, individualised occupational therapy advice, treatment, or the provision of a regulated health service in any jurisdiction outside Australia.

If you access the Content from outside Australia, you do so on the basis that it is general education addressed to a broad audience, not an occupational therapy service provided to you individually under the law of your own country.

Outcomes and Results

No outcome, result, or improvement in any child's development, behaviour, participation, or functioning is promised, implied, or guaranteed by any Content, including course marketing material, webinars, or free resources.

Every child's circumstances, diagnosis, environment, and support needs are different. General concepts described in the Content reflect general clinical principles, not a prediction or guarantee for any individual child. Case examples used in the Content are de-identified and provided for teaching purposes only, not as an endorsement or an outcome guarantee.

Webinar Recording and AI Transcription

Live webinars run by Orange Tree Therapy are recorded, and an AI tool, such as Zoom's AI Companion, is used to generate an automatic transcript and summary of the recording. Attending a webinar, including asking a question or commenting in the chat or out loud, means your voice, video image if your camera is on, and anything you say may be captured in the recording and in the resulting transcript and summary.

If you purchased this webinar, the recording remains available to you for 90 days after the event. If you registered for a free webinar, the replay is available for 48 hours after the event only.

Please avoid sharing confidential or identifying information about yourself, your child, or anyone else, particularly a child's name or health details, in the chat or out loud during a webinar, as this may be captured in the recording, the transcript, or the summary.

Child-Directed Video Content

Some Content on this website and within our courses is created for a child to watch and follow directly, for example short videos teaching an everyday skill such as tying shoelaces, fastening buttons, brushing teeth, or handwriting. This Content is clearly labelled as intended for a child to watch.

This Content has no chat, comments, messaging or any other interactive feature, and no personal information is collected from a child while they watch. It is designed to be watched with an adult present.

Privacy

What we collect and why

When you download free content, subscribe for updates, purchase a course, or register for a webinar, we collect your name and email address. Billing details are collected and processed directly by our course platform (Kajabi) and its payment system, not stored separately by us. We also collect anything you choose to share in an email, webinar chat, question, or comment, along with some technical information (like browser type and pages visited) through cookies — see below.

Live webinars are recorded, and an AI tool (such as Zoom's AI Companion) generates an automatic transcript and summary. If you attend, your voice, video image (if your camera's on), and anything you say may be captured.

What we're not trying to collect

Our online content is general education, not individual treatment, so we don't ask for identifying health information about a specific child. If it's shared anyway — for example, a diagnosis mentioned in a webinar chat — we treat it as sensitive information under the Privacy Act, handle it with extra care, don't publish or reuse it, and delete it once it's no longer needed.

Some content — short skill-building videos for a child to follow along with — has no chat, comments or other interactive features, and collects no personal information from a child at all.

Sensitive and health information

Health information is sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1988, and carries a higher standard of protection than ordinary personal information. As a health service provider, we don't qualify for the small business exemption many small businesses rely on — we're bound by the Australian Privacy Principles regardless of turnover.

How we use your information

  • To provide the content, course or webinar you've requested.
  • To process payment and manage your purchase, through Kajabi.
  • To send updates, receipts, and — where you've opted in — marketing emails.
  • To respond to a question, comment, or complaint.
  • To meet our legal and professional obligations, including those owed to Ahpra.

Who we share it with

We share information only where it's necessary to run the business — principally with Kajabi (hosting, payment, and email) and Zoom (webinars).

To be confirmed. Please contact [email protected] for further information.

AI and software tools

We use AI-assisted and other software tools to help deliver content and run the business — for example, transcription, scheduling, and drafting support. Where a specific tool processes personal information at a point of collection (like the webinar transcription tool mentioned above), we'll name it there specifically.

Sending information overseas

Kajabi and Zoom are both US-based providers, so your information is very likely stored and processed outside Australia, including in the US. We take reasonable steps to be satisfied any overseas recipient handles your information properly.

How long we keep it

To be confirmed. Please contact [email protected] for further information.

Keeping your information secure

To be confirmed. Please contact [email protected] for further information.

Cookies and tracking

This website may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (with Google's advertising features switched off), and may use advertising or remarketing tools such as a Meta or Google Ads pixel to reach people who might be interested in our courses. Where we do, non-essential tracking will only be set with your consent through a cookie banner, not automatically. Kajabi itself sets cookies necessary for the site and checkout to work.

To be confirmed. Please contact [email protected] for further information.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their own settings, though this may affect how parts of the site or course platform work.

If you're located in the US (Washington or Nevada residents)

If you're a Washington or Nevada resident: we don't knowingly collect consumer health data about you through this website, our courses, or our webinars, beyond what you might choose to share in a message or comment. We don't sell consumer health data.

Access, correction and complaints about your information

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. If a privacy concern isn't resolved, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

If you're visiting from the UK or EU

Our free content is available worldwide, including in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Paid courses and webinars are currently available for purchase in the United Kingdom. At this time, we are not offering paid courses or webinars for sale to residents of the European Union, while we work through what's needed to do that properly.

If you're visiting from the UK or EU, you may have rights under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR in addition to Australian privacy law.

To be confirmed. Please contact [email protected] for further information.

Children's privacy

Our courses, webinars and website are intended for parents, carers and other adults — not for children to use directly or provide their own information to. Where a parent chooses to share information about their child (for example, in a webinar question), that consent is the parent's to give.
