FAQ
About the courses and webinars
What are your online courses and webinars?
Our online courses are on-demand video lessons with downloadable resources that you can work through at your own pace. Our webinars are live online sessions with Clare, with time for general questions. Some webinars are free and some are paid.
Who are they for?
Parents, carers and other professionals who support children and teens. Our courses and webinars are designed for adults, so children and teens should have a parent or carer register.
Are there videos for children to watch?
Some short videos are made for a child to watch and follow along with, for example learning an everyday skill like tying shoelaces. They are designed to be watched with an adult nearby, and they have no chat or comments.
Is this therapy?
No. Everything we offer online is general education based on Clare's professional experience. It isn't assessment, diagnosis, treatment or individual advice, and it doesn't replace seeing a therapist who can work with your child directly. Every child is different, so if your child has a diagnosis, medical condition or complex needs, check with their treating team before trying a new strategy.
Will the course get results for my child?
We can't promise any particular outcome. The strategies reflect general clinical principles, and every child's circumstances, needs and environment are different.
Which course is right for me?
Each course page explains who it's for and what it covers. If you're not sure, get in touch and we'll point you in the right direction.
Buying and access
How long do I have access?
Paid on-demand courses and PDF resources are available for 90 days from the date of purchase. For paid live webinars, you can attend the live session and watch the recording for 90 days after the event. For free webinars that need registration, the replay is available for 48 hours after the event.
What if I can't attend a live webinar?
Registered attendees can watch the recording: for 90 days after a paid webinar, or for 48 hours after a free one. Registration for a free webinar stays open during that 48 hours, so you can still sign up after the live session while the replay is available.
Do I get access straight away?
Yes. At checkout you'll be asked to confirm that you'd like immediate access to any content that's already available. If your purchase includes content released over time, such as a webinar series, each part becomes available as it's released.
What does it cost, and in what currency?
Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST for purchases within Australia. If you're buying from outside Australia, your bank or card provider converts the price to your own currency and may charge conversion fees. Your receipt shows our ABN and GST registration.
How do I pay?
Payment is processed directly by our course platform's payment system (Kajabi), using major credit and debit cards. We don't store your card details.
Can I buy from outside Australia?
Yes. Paid courses and webinars are open to buyers in Australia and overseas, including New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and South Africa. We aren't currently selling paid courses or webinars to residents of the European Union. Free content is available worldwide. Clare is registered as an occupational therapist in Australia only, so our content is general education, not an occupational therapy service in your own country.
Can I download the videos?
Video lessons are streamed through the course platform rather than downloaded. Any PDFs or worksheets that come with a course are for your personal use.
Can I share my access with a friend, a school or a clinic?
Your purchase is a personal licence for you and your immediate family, so please don't share your login, files or recordings, or use them in a paid service. The best way to share is to invite someone to register or purchase their own access.
Free webinars are easy to share: pass on the registration link and they can sign up for their own access.
Refunds
Can I get a refund?
For on-demand courses, if you haven't started watching or downloading the content, you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Once you've started, we don't offer refunds beyond your consumer guarantee rights. Live webinars and one-off workshops aren't refundable, because they are delivered at a fixed time and are treated as used once the event has happened or the recording is available.
What if something is wrong with my purchase?
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law aren't affected by our refund policy. If a course or webinar isn't as described, doesn't do what it's meant to do, or is faulty, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement or other remedy. Please contact us and we'll work it through with you.
How do I ask for a refund?
Email [email protected] with your order details and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge it within 7 business days.
Webinars
Are webinars recorded?
Yes. We record every live webinar, and an AI tool (such as Zoom's AI Companion) creates a transcript and summary. If you ask a question, comment in the chat or turn your camera on, your voice, image and words may be captured. We'll remind you when you register and at the start of the session.
Can I ask Clare about my own child?
Please keep questions general. Clare can't give advice about an individual child during a webinar or by message, and asking a question doesn't create a clinical relationship. Please don't share your child's name or health details in the chat or out loud, because these can be captured in the recording and transcript. For advice about your child, speak with their treating team.
